Maria Julianna was born 1 February 1782. She is the daughter of Pal Stermenzsky and Julianna Banyovics. She was baptized at Búr Szent György, Malacka , Hungary and her godparents were P.D. Caspar Kubina and his wife, Maria , daughter of Anthony Papanek .

It's not clear if Julianna's mother, Julianna Banyovics, married from Búr Szent György to Pal Stermenzsky but this baptismal record stated that the " parents are from Gajar ".

In the records of Gajar on the 28th August 1800, Julianna was a godparent for a child born in the village as evidence that she lived to adulthood .
